Marconi club QSO Party Day 2025
QSO Party Day Contest, organized by the Marconi Club, is already celebrating its own 7. edition, again in the form of a "short contest". This year the event will take place 4. January 2025. Its goal is to introduce our club to a new generation, bring everyone together, who love and believe in telegraphy, and at the same time promote **MARCONI CLUB A.R.I. LOANO**, established 8. may 1988 Liberom Meriggim (I1YXN) with the support of the well-known DX-peditioner Baldur (DJ6SI).
During the competition, all members of the history club will participate, which today includes almost 1000 members from all over the world, and also enthusiasts of this amazing and unique artistic form of communication.
This year too, the competition will be supported by BEGALI, by a well-known Italian factory, which became famous worldwide for its high-quality telegraph keys. A key set from their production is prepared for the winner. For the "Independents" category, Giuseppe provided the award (IT9VDQ).

- Člen MARCONI CLUB A.R.I. Loano broadcasts RST, which will be followed by the membership number in three-digit format (599 MC123)
- Non-members will only connect with registered HAM in Marconi CLUB A.R.I. Loano and submit the RST report + serial number (599 001). Non-member stations of the station can connect to each other.
Body
- 5 points for each QSO with members of the MARCONI CLUB A.R.I. Loano
- 1 point for each QSO made with non-club members
It is possible to work with each station once on each band. The total score will be the sum of the points for the QSO multiplied by the total of the multipliers. A station of a non-member of the club can establish a connection with any station.

Diaries
The log must contain: date, UTC, call sign, zone, mode, Marconi Club member number received. If any of this information is missing, log will be listed as CHECKLOG. Logos must be exclusively in CABRILLO format, other formats will not be accepted. Logs must be uploaded to www.marconiclub.it or sent by e-mail to qsoparty(zav)marconiclub.it. It is strongly recommended to use the following recording software: • Improved contest mode support with integrated CAT display, N1MM a DXLOG; all these softwares support MCD Contest and generate logs according to the requirements.
The order
In case of a tie, the station with more QSOs in the log will be considered the winner. An excessive number of unverified QSOs will result in a disqualification penalty.
Any decision of the secretary and competition manager of the event organizer MARCONI CLUB are final.
