What's new on CQ.sk?
We performed a major server update of the language, which CMS WordPress used on the European HAMradio portal we use. This made it possible to implement new functions: visitor registration, evaluation of articles and their commenting.
Jazyk PHP 7.3
The transition from the older PHP language to the newer one seems, that ran smoothly and all parts of the site are functional. However, if you register after clicking on something, the wrong behavior of the page, please email us at admin(zav)cq.sk description of how the error occurred.
Article evaluation
The new feature is located below the star rating article. The best rating is 5 stars, the worst 1 asterisk.
Commenting on articles
We were unable to upload comments while migrating to the new system. Some of the discussions were extensive and valuable, and we were interested in passing them on, but it was beyond our power.
In the new system, it is possible to enter comments as both logged in and unlogged visitors. The advantage of logging in is more options and more comfort on the site. Login is still required in the discussion forum.

Visitor registration
Registration required ussername, email address and password. We recommend using r as the login nameradio amateur brand.
Registration has double protection against spam bots. It consists in solving a simple mathematical question (10 – 8 = …) and describing the verification code of the figure. We are aware, that it is a more difficult way, but spam bots are relatively handy, and one verification can be done relatively easily. To, the situation with https shows that they can overcome classic protection://hambazar.cz/, and so it is not avoided yet.
After successful registration, you will receive an email address email with verification link, which you activate the account.
Notice for registered in the past CMS
We transferred thousands of cones from the original system. Some radio amateurs use them, but it is possible, that some registrations are obsolete. We have dealt with several cases, where the email address in the account was no longer functional and had to be replaced with a new one.
If you have a problem with it when you register, that the system will refuse to process it due to the login name or email address used and you will not be able to advise, please email us at admin(zav)cq.sk and we will do the registration.
