In the light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the official position of IARU-R1 is not to encourage the participation of several competitors in the competition according to the principle of "social distancing".. Nevertheless, the Youth Working Group explicitly decided to allow the activation of more operators in this competition. This allows for the participation of young people (which often does not have its own station) e.g.. parent or Elmer station, as a means to it, to get to the ether. Nevertheless, which we support in "normal times" within the YCP (Program of youth competitions), At present, we do not recommend associating groups of young people at large competition stations according to the principle of "social distancing".. Follow all local and national laws and recommendations regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
