Yaesu FTDX10 SDR TCVR

SSB: March 27-28, 2021 CW: May 29-30, 2021
Beginning: 0000 UTC Saturday End: 2359 UTC Sunday

I. Target:

For stations around the world to establish as many connections as possible with as many prefixes
during the race.

II. Opening hours:

48 hours. Stations with one operator can work at most 36 hours of
total time 48 hours - breaks must be at least 60 minutes during
of which no connection is registered. Stations with multiple operators can
work full 48 hours.

III. Bands:

Bands can be used 1.8, 3.5, 7, 14, 21, a 28 MHz. The valid ones must be observed
band plans.

IV. EXCHANGE:

RS(T) report and connection serial number starting 001 on the first connection. Note:
stations in the Multi-Two categories, Multi-Unlimited a Multi-Distributed číslují
connections on each band separately (from 001).

V. RESULT:

A. Result: We get the final result by multiplying the number of points per QSO
number of different prefixes (once per race, regardless of the bands).
B. Body za QSO: The connection to one and the same station applies to each band
once:
1. There are three connections between stations on different continents (3) body na
bands 28, 21, a 14 MHz and six (6) points on 7, 3.5, a 1.8 MHz.
2. Connections between stations on the same continent outside their own country are counted
for one (1) point on the bands 28, 21, a 14 MHz a dva (2( body na 7, 3.5, a 1.8
MHz. Exception: for North American stations only - for connections between stations
in North America (both stations must be on the continent of North America) I know
count two (2) points on the bands 28, 21, a 14 MHz and four (4() body na 7, 3.5,
a 1.8 MHz.
3. Connections between home country stations count as one (1) point regardless
on the band.
C. Multipliers: The multiplier is the number of valid prefixes, with which it was connected
connection, regardless of the bands (one prefix is valid only once).
1. PREFIX is a character combination of letters and numbers of the first part of the call sign.
Examples: N8, W8, WD8, HG1, HG19, KC2, OE2, OE25, LY1000, etc. Any
a different combination applies to a separate prefix. Station, which works from another
DXCC countries other than their original brand must use the transient brand
broadcast as portable. The portable prefix must be with an authorized form for
country. In the case of such traffic, the prefix is the country designation
portable traffic. Example: N8BJQ working from Wake Island will have a call sign
N8BJQ / KH9 or N8BJQ / NH9. KH6XXX working from Ohio must use
authorized prefix for district 8 (/W8, /AD8, etc.). Portable destination without a number
they will be taken as a prefix with the number zero (Ø) after the second letter of the prefix. Example:
PA / N8BJQ will be strongly prefix PAØ. Also all call signs without a number
will be taken with the number zero in the prefix after the first two letters of the call sign.
Example: XEFTJW will apply as XEØ. Maritime mobile, mobile, /A, /E, /J, /P,
or other identifiers will not be taken as a prefix.
2. Participation with special occasional prefiy is recommended, but they must be
officially issued by the licensing authority of the country.

WE. CATEGORY:

Using a DX cluster or similar system is allowed for everyone
category with the exception of the Single Operator Classic Overlay category.
A. Category one operator: One person (operator) performs all
operational and recording activities. There is no limit to the number of band changes. In the same
only one transmission signal is allowed at a time.
1. One operator: HP – Great performance (all bands or one
zone): The total output power must not exceed 1500 watts.
2. One operator: LP – Low performance (all bands or one
zone): The total output power must not exceed 100 watts.
3. QRP (all bands or one band): The total output power must not
exceed 5 watts.
B. One operator in the Overlay category: Any operator in category one
operator, who meets the given conditions may participate outside his category
one of the OVERLAY categories by adding a line in the Cabrillo file to CATEGORYOVERLAY in the header file. The results of the Overlay categories will be presented separately
for all bands categories, HP, LP and QRP.
1. Tribander/Single Element (TB-WIRES): Throughout the race he can
stations use only one tribander antenna, which has one power supply
for bands 10, 15, a 20 meters and for bands 40, 80, a 160 meters
single element antenna. Special antennas for reception are not in this category
allowed.
2. Rookie (ROOKIE): The operator in this category must be an amateur radio with
licenses maximum 3 years old. The date of issue of the license must be indicated in
the SOAPBOX line in the Cabrillo journal header. Station, which gained any
plaque in previous CQ races can no longer enter this category.
3. Classic Operator (CLASSIC): An operator in this category can use
only one device (tcvr) and can only work 24 hours of total time 36
hours - breaks must be at least 60 minutes, during which it must not
no connection can be established. If the diary contains more than 24 hours of operation,
then counts first 24 hours. Use of assistance (dx cluster) not allowed,
special receiving antennas are also not allowed.
C. Categories of multiple operators (only all bands): For stations with more than
one operator. You can select a category according to the number of broadcast signals or
habitats.
1. One transmitter (MULTI-ONE): Only one broadcast is allowed at a time
signal. It is allowed to change the band 10 times in one hour (at time 00 to
59 minutes).Example: change from 20m to 40 m band and back is taken as two
band changes. Connections are numbered in ascending order, regardless of band.
a. HP - high performance. The total output power must not exceed 1500 watts.
b. LP - low power. The total output power must not exceed 100 watts.
2. Two transmitters (MULTI-TWO): Two transmission signals are allowed at the same time
on two different bands (two signals on one band are not allowed).
The connection to the same station is valid only once on each band, no matter what,
which station connects to it. The log must contain for each connection
designation, with which transmitter the connection was established (column 81 in
CABRILLO file for CQ races). Each transmitter can within one hour
change the band a maximum of 8 times (at time 00 to 59 minutes). Connections on everyone
bands are numbered separately. The total output power of each of the two transmitters must not
exceed 1500 watts.
3. Multiple transmitters (MULTI-UNLIMITED): It is allowed to the maximum 6 current
signals, one on each band. maximum of six transmitted signals, one per
band, at any one time. Connections on each band are numbered separately. Total
the output power of an individual transmitter must not exceed 1500 watts.
4. More transmitters more QTH (MULTI-DISTRIBUTED): Maximum is allowed
six signals transmitted simultaneously, one on each band, from stations in different
QTH. All stations (transmitters, receivers, antennas, amplifiers) must be
located in the same DXCC country and CQ zone, including possibly remote controlled
station. Connections on each band are numbered separately. Total output power
individual transmitter must not exceed 1500 watts. Cabrillo diary header
must contain lines: CATEGORY-OPERATOR: MULTI-OP, CATEGORYSTATION: DISTRIBUTED. Rules X.E, X.F and X.G do not apply to this category.
D. Checklog: Diary for inspection. It is not scored and will not be public.

Competitors in the one band category can only receive a diploma for one
zone. The condition is operation at least 4 hours. In the category of stations with more
operators must work minimally 8 hours.
A. Plaques are listed in recognition of the top result in several categories.
A list of categories and their sponsors is given on the website
www.cqwpx.com/plaques.htm>.
Each station can receive only one plaque. The category winner cannot receive
another plaque, e.g. for a subcategory of the continent. Here she will receive the nursery in the next
order, if the conditions of the number of stations for the award of the plaque are met.
B. Diplomas: Electronic diplomas will be downloadable for all evaluated
race participants

OR to a distance 400 km from the clubhouse.
C. General club rules:
National organizations (e.g. JARL, REF or DARC) they cannot perform
like a club.
Stations with one operator can only register for one club. Station s
multiple operators can sign up for multiple clubs according to the percentage
individual operators. The name of the club must be stated in the diary, in case of more
operators and multiple clubs as well as percentage participation.
In order to list the club in the result list, participation is required at least 4 stations,
inspection logs do not count.
