The 4th annual club 070 PSKFest, sponsored by PODXS, will take place on January 15, 2005 from 00:00 to 24:00 UTC.
The categories are:
- QRP Single Band 5 W
- QRP Multi Band 5 W
- Low Power 50 W
- Medium Power 100 W
Type of operation: only PSK31, CALL is sent, RST and SPC (State/Province/Country). For us, "Country" applies, i.e. example OK1AK 599 OK. Invitation to the competition: cq PSKFEST, frequencies 80 to 10 m outside WARC.
Each station can be entered only once on each band.
Scoring: each valid connection = 1 point, multipliers are each new SPC. Each first connection with a station from the USA, Canada, Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands counts for two multipliers (1× state or province and 1× country).
Text logs must be submitted by 2/16, preferably by email to PSKFest@podxs.com or SPDomigue@aol.com, or by mail to: Steve Dominguez N6YIH, 11700 Fairlarn CT, BOISE, ID 83709, USA. The log must contain the CALL, date and time in UTC, band, received code and calculated result. At 100 or more QSO it is necessary to attach a "dupe sheet", i.e. list of QSOs arranged alphabetically by call sign. The first sheet must contain your own call sign, address, e-mail, competition category and, for club 070 members, also the membership number.
I wish all participants the best possible result, although it is not important to win, but to participate.
