The launch of the SSETI Express from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome is planned for the morning of September 30 at 6:52 UT. The backup date is Saturday, October 1. The start will be broadcast online thanks to Howard G6LVB. We will be able to watch it (hopefully) on www.streamingwizard.com/clients/space.asx.

The first signals should appear approximately 65 minutes after the separation of the satellite from the launch vehicle in the area over northern Europe. In normal "Nominal" mode it should be AX25 9k6 FSK telemetry every 18 seconds on 437.250 MHz. In "Recovery" and "Safe" mode, it should only pulse every 30 seconds. The output power on the downlink is 3W. Listener reports are welcome via email to operations@sseti.net or the SSETI Newsgroup.
The primary function of the SSETI Express project is to deploy three Cube microsatellites developed at universities around the world. They are: XI-V of the University of Tokyo, German UWE-1 of the University of Wurzburg and Norwegian Ncube-2. SSETI will also send images from space to Earth.

In addition to the main 9k6 downlink on 437.250 MHz, a 38k4 downlink on 2401.835 MHz with a power of 2.5W should be launched. Both downlinks can also be configured for voice transmission. Prestart Keplerians:
