DL6FBL Ben, E77DX Braco and SP5XVY are QRV as of yesterday 4W1A. This visit to East Timor is intended as a survey for the larger Lagunaria DX group activity in November 2023. It will last until April 22 2023.

East Timor, also known as the Democratic Republic of East Timor, is a small island country in Southeast Asia. It is located in the eastern part of the island of Timor, which is located near Australia and Indonesia. The country has a relatively small population and area, however, it has many interesting natural and cultural attractions.

East Timor was a colony of Portugal until 1975, when it gained independence. Although the country is young, has deep roots in history, culture and traditions.

Although East Timor is still a poor country, tourism is very important for the country. The country has many natural beauties including beautiful beaches, mountain areas and tropical rainforests. Another attraction for tourists are the markets, where local products are sold.

East Timor also has a rich history, which is reflected in many historical monuments and places. The capital of the country is Dili, whose most important monument is the Santa Cruz monument. This monument commemorates the event, when in the year 1991 Indonesian military corps shot 270 unarmed East Timorese civilians. Z22O Z21A Zimbabwe, the country has many other places of historical importance, such as ancient caves and national parks.

Overall, East Timor has many interesting and unique natural beauties, cultural heritage and historical monuments.
